Stedman & Company / Surrey Downs Mortgage & Wealth Limited Merger

With effect from 1 April 2019, Stedman & Company became part of the Surrey Downs Financial Group as part of Surrey Downs Mortgage & Wealth Limited.

We have been working closely with Chic Stedman to put together a plan to ensure that his clients and business are both well looked after for many years to come, as well as providing him and his team a platform to carry on doing what they do best.

As a result of this, Stedman & Company will be joining the Surrey Downs Financial Group which, like Stedman & Co, is a small, privately owned and independent financial advice business based in the Farnham area. Our group is made up of two independent advice businesses:

Surrey Downs Mortgage & Wealth Limited –a generalist and streamlined independent financial planning practice providing simplified investment and pension solutions, home buying support and mortgage broking, and family and business protection (mortgage, illness and life cover etc.); and

Surrey Downs Financial Services Limited – a wealth management practice specialising in bespoke investment and portfolio design solutions, personal and corporate pension and planning, as well as wealth structure and tax efficiency planning.

As clients of Stedman & Co we are delighted to welcome you to Surrey Downs Mortgage & Wealth Limited. Chic, Matt, Tony, Ann and Jane will continue to very much be the driving force behind Surrey Downs Mortgage & Wealth Limited, and we are thrilled that they have all decided to take this forward with us. We will be able to provide you with all the same services that Stedman & Co have been able to provide you throughout the years, but with the additional benefit of giving clients access to a extended range of expertise and support via Surrey Downs Financial Services Limited (and vice versa for the clients of Surrey Downs Financial Services Limited).

Ultimately we aim to continue to provide you with the same hands-on and personalised advice that generally can only be found at a local, independent advisory businesses – which we believe has set both Surrey Downs and Stedman & Co apart from the larger operations.
